17 Police Involved Indicated Mass Rape in India

Erwin News, India - Some 17 police and forestry staff in Indonedia otherwise engaged in mass rapes in a low caste tribal groups in the southern state of Tamil Nadu in 1992. Similarly told AP on Friday (30/09/2011).

Press Trust of India reported that at least 100 other police officers convicted of beating a dozen people from the dalit villages. Dalits are the lowest caste in India and should not be touched.

The incident occurred when police stormed the village to seek Vacathi sandalwood smuggling. In a two-day raid, 18 women raped and 100 people were beaten in a very pathetic condition.

In a court ruling in India that will be released next week, a number of actors have died while the case is rolling and make the Indian legal system known as the most ugly and slow.
